Genta Yoshii’s Birthplace
The former home of YOSHII Genta who dedicated himself to the study of Tosa washi paper
The former home of YOSHII Genta, the “father of the city of paper Ino-chō” who dedicated himself to improving quality and increasing production of, and enhancing technology for Tosa washi paper. It was here that he was born, was raised, was educated, trained in the paper business, endured hardships, and left behind numerous accomplishments before passing away. Many of his personal items including books, bags, storage boxes, autographed writings and paintings, as well as other valuable resources are on display.
