Road that extends to the highest peak in western Japan and to the sky beyond
An 18-kilometer driving route with a breathtaking view that extends from the entrance of Omogo-kei gorge in Kumakōgen-chō to Tsuchi-goya located at the trailhead on Mount Ishizuchi. From the Nagao-oné observation deck, the Goraikō-no-Taki waterfall selected as the “100 top waterfalls in Japan” can be seen in the distance. This road is also known for being a great route for fall foliage viewing.
