Michi-no-Eki Tenkū no Sato Sansan
Enjoy the gifts of the san (“sun”) and san (“mountain”) at the produce shop and restaurant
Visitors can enjoy Kumakōgen’s special local products at this multi-interest facility. It includes the Bussan-kan that offers popular highland vegetables grown in this Tenkū no Sato (“village under the celestial sky”) at elevation 800 meters, Nōka Restaurant, Sansan Bakery with a variety of freshly baked breads, and the Fast Food Corner which offers easy take-outs made with local ingredients. Notably, there is a wide variety of products made with special Kumakōgen tomatoes. The restaurant offers healthy dishes in a buffet format using an abundance of farm produce grown in the city of Kumakōgen-chō. Visitors can enjoy home-cooked meals made with in-season ingredients, from mountain vegetables in the spring and summer to mushrooms in the fall.
